What this website collects, why we hold it, and how to ask us about it — in plain terms.
Last updated: November 3, 2026
This page sets out what this website collects, why we hold it, and how to ask us about it. If anything is unclear, ask using the contact details on the contact page.
What we collect
- The details you type into the inquiry form: your name, company, country, email address or other contact channel, and the message you write.
- The files you upload with an inquiry, such as drawings, STEP files, photographs or specifications.
- Ordinary technical data that a web server records when a page is requested, such as an IP address, the page requested, the referring page, the browser type and the time of the request.
Why we hold it
- To evaluate your drawing or requirement and to prepare a quotation or an estimate.
- To answer your inquiry and continue the conversation about your project.
- To keep a record of the enquiry, so that a later question can be answered without asking you to send the same files again.
- To keep the commercial records that belong to an order or a quotation, where a project goes ahead.
We do not use the details you send for unrelated marketing, and we do not add you to a mailing list because you asked for a quotation.
Files and sharing
Drawings, and who sees them
Uploaded drawings and files
Files you upload are stored privately. They are not published on this website, they are not shown to other visitors, and they are not used as sample material or in marketing. They are read to evaluate and quote your project, and — where the project goes ahead — to have the part tooled and produced.
Who sees your data
We do not sell or rent your data to anyone. Your inquiry is read by the staff who handle the project. The partner silicone factory that evaluates or produces your part sees only what is needed for that: usually the drawing, the material and finish requirements, the quantity and the delivery information. It does not receive your contact list or anything unrelated to the project.

How long we keep things
Quotations and orders
Where an inquiry leads to a quotation, an order or a delivery, the related records — correspondence, drawings, quotation, contract, invoice and shipping documents — are kept as business records. Quotation and order records are kept for at least two years after the last order, because they document what was agreed and what was supplied.
Enquiries that go no further
An enquiry that does not lead to an order is kept only while it is being answered and is not used for anything else.
Cookies and server logs
The site uses cookies only for basic site function, such as keeping a session while you fill in the inquiry form. Server logs record requests to the site as described above. You can block or delete cookies in your browser; parts of the site may then behave differently, but the text of the pages stays readable.
Your data
Asking for a copy, a correction or a deletion
You can ask what personal data we hold about you or your company, ask for it to be corrected, or ask for it to be deleted. Write to us using the contact details on the contact page, from the address or account you used for the inquiry if you can, so that we can find the record. We will answer and tell you what we hold.
If the request concerns a record we keep because an order was placed, we may not be able to delete it while it is still needed as a commercial record. We will say so, and explain what is held and why, rather than deleting part of it silently.
